    Five young people fight an oil pipeline in the swamps of rural Louisiana. But years pass, circumstances spin them apart, hurricanes loom. They look for meaning somewhere between memory and reality, between love and resentment, within the buildup to a coming, inescapable storm.

    In this multilayered queer fairytale, a restless teenager in strays from her home in small-town East Tennessee to hunt a legendary monster.

  • What the Water Tells Me

    Through hip-hop, puppetry, and dance, this collaborative story explores the waves that course through our veins, create the beats that move us, transmit the media that shapes us, and fill the rivers that can lead us back home. What the Water Tells Me follows two childrens journeys to adulthood, as they navigate the changes that occur in their home town and within themselves, when a large utility company comes to town and threatens the waters that raised them. Co-written with Cattywampus Puppet Council and the Good Guy Collective.

    The town of Rocky Top, Tennessee, has changed a lot since its coal-mining years, and the only one who’s been there to witness it all is the ghost of old Dick Drummond, lynched during a miner’s strike two hundred years ago.
